Karen Rotz has been in the Financial Services Industry since 1988. She joined Money Concepts in January 2005. Teeter/Rotz Financial Inc. was incorporated December 2008.
Karen is licensed as an insurance and mutual fund investment advisor and in June 2008 Karen attained the CFP designation.
This designation shows a commitment to excellence and life long learning in the profession of Financial Planning. The letters "CFP" stand for Certified Financial Planner. The CFP marks identify individuals who are dedicated to the highest level of professionalism in providing financial planning advice.
The CFP credential assures that the planner adheres to internationally recognized professional standards of competence and ethical practice as set in Canada by the not-for-profit Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC). CFP standards include requirements in education, examination, experience and ethics – commonly known as the 4Es of professionalism.
Karen's goal is to establish successful client/advisor relationships based on mutual trust and respect. She will take the time to become well acquainted with you and your family. Solutions are not one-size-fits-all, they are customized to fit your particular financial needs.
Karen is not required to sell proprietary products, so she is free to recommend the best solutions to your financial needs and she has access to Canada's leading mutual fund and insurance providers through Investia Financial Services and National Financial Insurance Agency Inc.
Al Teeter has been in the financial industry services for over 50 years. He has attained both the Chartered Life Underwriter (C.L.U.) in 1972 and the Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.) in 2001.
Al began his financial services career in 1964 and came to St. Catharines as a branch manager with a major Canadian insurance company.
In 1975, he was transferred to Imperial Life's Head Office in Toronto as "Executive Director of Branch Operations".
In 1985, Al joined Grant Sylvester in the building of Money Concepts Canada. His responsibility as "Executive Vice-President and General Manager" was the development of Money Concept offices throughout Canada.
In 1997 Money Concepts was sold and Al remained with the company until July 1999. He then returned to St. Catharines as President of his own Money Concepts Franchise. Al's considerable knowledge and experience allows him to focus on wealth accumulation supported by strong service and client relationships.
In January 2005, Karen Rotz, joined up with Al as part of his succession plan and commitment to continue providing a high level of service to his clientele as he approaches his retirement years.
